We are a small family business that specialise in sound system & PA hire for Business Functions, Weddings (indoors and out), Acoustic Instrumentals, Bands etc. Alternately Powered Systems offer greater flexibility, where powering a conventional system could be an issue.

From Feilding, Manawatu we cover the lower North Island. We can also travel further afield if needed.

Offering services including:
Live sound hire & operation, live video streaming, sound system training, custom cable wiring, assessmants of installed sound systems for clients needing to understand their current setup.

Dave started gaining real world experience in live sound for almost a decade before going on to graduate from SAE with a diploma of audio engineering in 2006.

Dave also has many years experience making audio cables & most of the SoundGuy.co.nz systems have been wired & setup by him. Because of this he doesn't just operate the equipment, he knows it inside & out.

Nelson - New for 2023!

From Nelson, Isaac Rogers coverers the upper South Island.

Offering services including:
Live sound system hire & operation, FOH or monitor mix engineer, stage management etc.

After operating & assisting with events with us in Feilding, Isaac is now representing SoundGuy.co.nz Nelson & surrounding areas.
With Isaac's background of 17 years of experience in live sound he is well placed to help you with your sound needs. Isaac has a variety of experience workng with live bands. From pubs to church Isaac has mixed it all!
